Celebration of "Sane Guruji Punyathithi" on 11th June 2012
Sane Guruji Punyathithi was celebrated during School Assembly, speech was given by Sir Premanand Satarkar And Group song by Std VIII A Class.
In his speech sir Premanand told many inspirational stories from the book "Shyamchi Aai"
written by Sane Guruji.
The song "Khara to Ekchi darma" was very melodious and heart touching!
Celebration of " Kranti Din " or "Goa Revolution Day" on 18th June 2012

The teacher in charge spoke about the movement of 18th June 1946. The importance of Dr Juliaon Menezes and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia in the
Goan freedom struggle was told to the students.
The students also spoke on the topic "Goa Revolution day" and its importance.

Shenoy Goembab Jayanti was organised on 23rd June 2012 in the assembly hall. All the activities were conducted in
Konkani under the guidance of Tr. Simantini Shirwaiker. A story telling competition was organised in
Konkani in three categories nearly 35 students participated. Prize winners are:

Celebration of World Population Day on 11th July 2012

World Population day was celebrated on 11th July 2012. It was a programme of about 1 hour during the school Assembly.
Tr. Santoshi told the Importance of the day.
The students of std VIIth A and C presented a skit on population to create awareness among the students about the consequences of increasing population.
The Headmaster Dr Uday Gaunker informed the students to read different statistical reports on population of India and the world.
